Family-owned since 1845, German perfume house Maurer & Wirtz is located in Stolberg, Germany. Initially selling fine soaps, founder Michael Maurer and his stepson Andreas August Wirtz began selling their products in grocery stores in their home country. Eventually, this turned into a perfume company with products being sold in neighboring countries (mainly in France). Still family-owned, the company has enjoyed worldwide success over the years. Floral Shower Freshness
A nice, light, floral fresh cologne. The scent reminds me of that 'just got out of the shower' clean, soapy freshness. It's dominated by classic floral-blossom notes, not too complex, but lifted by the slight cologne-aquatic tones. A nice start to the day or daytime cologne that's noticeable, but not over powering. This is my second purchase in this range by 4711, and I'm keen to try more. The packaging and bottle designs are so attractive too. Always good and fast, international service from Fragrancex!
