4711 Lilac Cologne by 4711, What does springtime smell like to you? To 4711 Lilac, a 2019 scent aimed at both men and women, it smells like freshness and green accords, woody notes and musk. Fruity top notes welcome you in zesty bergamot and juicy peach, while sweet freesia provides a segue into the flowery middle notes. The heart is a beautiful bouquet of three springtime blossoms: Intoxicating lilac, sweet red rose and potent jasmine. Base notes are woody and musky, a light hint of sandalwood giving you an earthy accord that clings to your skin and lasts all night long.

When Italian-born Johann Maria Farina immigrated to Cologne, Germany in the 1700s, he created a fragrance that he named for his new home: Eau de Cologne ("water from Cologne"). Legend has it that he gifted his scent as a wedding present to Wilhelm Mülhens, who lived at house number 4711 and went on to found one of the most prominent perfume houses in the world. Hey, everyone. Shariff here, and today I'll be reviewing 4711 Lilac Eau de Cologne by 4711. This floral, woody musk is a unisex scent in an old-school bottle, with really cool 19th century styling on the label. As for the perfume itself, it's a great mix of strong heart notes of, well, lilac, alongside lighter notes of bergamot, peach, and freesia in the opening, roses and jasmine in the heart, and base notes of sandalwood and musk. I recommend it for spring and fall wear, especially if you're interested in softer floral scents for those seasons. That's all for now. I would never buy this again

I would have used it, as I do the 4711 classic, for hot weather but it just smells like rubbing alcohol. I have no use for it.

lovely smell

I bought this for my husband as it is unisex and he loves the smell of lilacs in saying this it is not over the top floral but very mild , he thinks it is his favorite cologne and wears it a lot

very good cologne for men + women

... a very good cologne with an interesting scent ... i like it ... i am a dedicated believer in the original 4711 scent ... it is my favorite scent and is suitable for men + women ... this 4711 lilac cologne has a warm lilac but cool original scent underneath ... i can recommend for men + women ... the best scents are always the unisex scents even if they have not been advertised or marketed as such ...
