Salvatore Ferragamo began his career as an Italian accessory designer at the age of 9. He moved back and forth between America and Italy in order to establish his brand, learning how to make shoes both stylish and comfortable throughout his travels. Ferragamo passed away in 1960, but his brand continued to live on thanks to his hard efforts, and it launched its first fragrance in 1998. Since, the company has created over 60 unique fragrances.

Man O Man this fragrance here is Wonderful I just got it in today opened and sprayed on my arm and man Salvatore Ferragamo is a house I love anyway but this fragrance is you just love yo smell it it's soft sweet powdery with like a pinch of cotton candy with woods in the background this is a MUST HAVE in anybodys collection just GET IT

Great value blue fragrance
This is a great office or dumb reach fragrance. The perfumer was Alberto Morillas so if you like Versace Pour Home or other similar blue fragrances you'll like this. This has a very clean, pleasant smell. For a freshie it has great performance, it projects fairly strong for the first couple hours and becomes a skin scent for about 7 hours. For the price this is a winner to add to your collection.

A STUNNER
Truly an AWESOME fragrance!! I have reviewed this before, but it MUST be revised now that I have had more time with it. This is part of my "favs" section of my collection. This cologne doesn't quite fit into ANY one type of scent category. It's fresh and clean, but also warm and a little spicy while at the same time. It easily goes well with a pair of faded jeans and t-shirt. But just as easily puts a finishing touch on a pair of slacks with a button-up Oxford. Perfect for a warm spring day or a brisk fall night. Some would say this is a "blue" fragrance. But IMO it's a perfect fragrance. A real Swiss Army kinda fragrance. The smell is great. The bottle is great. The price is great. This sits comfortably along side Aventus, Dylan Blue, Sauvage, Code, ADG Profumo, 540,..........Just awesome.

Heavily Underrated! Excellent Cologne!
Ferragamo does it again…an unbelievably good cologne at its price point. This is a great "blue" fragrance and I have received many compliments when I wear it.

Excellent "BLUE" fragrance
Although this is another "blue" fragrance, it's definitely not typical. Open with a fresh blast of citrus like many others of the genre. The ambroxan is nicely done and not so in your face. Only a hint of powder carries this through the dry down. At first spray I wasn't quite sure about Blu........... but now it's right up there with my Dylan Blue and Perry Ellis Aqua Extreme (another hidden gem like SFAEB) as one of my go to scents. Good stuff.

Really good for the price
At first I wasn't getting anything that nice from it but after it just kept growing on me and I really like it now. Its similar to dylan blue and some other blue fragrances but also unique in its own way. And it does seem powdery. Definitely worth getting for the price in my opinion.

I love the scent especially half hour after spraying it on me. It is loud, so spray it half hour before going out and go easy on it. I usually used 3 sprays that lasts 6 to 7 hours! I enjoyed the dry down best.

Great Blue Freshie!
I love this fragrance! Purchased as a blind buy and I have no regrets. Well crafted blue fresh/aquatic scent that has a slight powdery dry down similar to F Black after 4-6 hours. My wife loves this scent and I would definitely recommend it. Great for spring/summer (really anytime) and works in an office environment as well.

So nostalgic..
I've purchased many bottles from here lately.. and this is my first review. I started getting into fragrances when I was a teenager mostly due to my mom being into them as well, and my favorite back then was Givenchy Pi Neo. I went through almost 5 bottles before it finally got discontinued and hard to find, those carried me through High school and part of College. Then one day I stumbled upon this at a fragrance shop and tons of memories started flooding in, so similar yet it has it's own character, had to get it after that. What an amazing blue fragrance!

Good scent
This i a very nice fragrance however the performance is a bit lacking for me, about 6 hrs on my skin. Can't complain too much at this price tho... for me this is a great gym scent, fresh and clean and not over powering. I prefer my day day/office scents to last at least 8hrs

Great bang for the buck
1 of the best-buys in that fresh/aquatic 'blue' type category, because of it's long-lasting power for the price you pay. if i was to gather all of the fragrances i have ever had in this category, this might not reach that no.1 spot - because that will probably go to D&G light blue intense pour homme, but I would put this one 2nd, ahead of all of the more popular brands like the davidoff cool waters, Invictus aqua, acqua de gio, etc. if the price of everything was the same, then admittedly, this might slip further down the pecking order, but there's not huge gaps in the quality of the names i have mentioned - so you do really have to take price into consideration and this is a great long lasting aqua fragrance for the money you pay, and it was a surprising one actually, because i forgot that i even did a blind-buy on this one, until it arrived - and surpassed original expectations. I initially bought it as something to give to my son, as an incentive to completing a task, but this has ended up in my personal collection, and he got a different blue fragrance, i think he got 1 of the Nautica ones. it's ok, he's 13 ;)

Falling in love....with the house of Salvatore Ferragamo
I've been a perfume collector since the mid 90's. How in the world I had missed this house, SF, remains a mystery. Bought SF 'F' last month and followed by Acqua Essenziale Blu and Uomo Signature which I bought and arrived from fragrancex yesterday...my, my....Signature easily past the 8-hour mark for longevity and 6-7 for Blu. Received compliments both from.....my wife...at least for these 2 days of wearing them. More good sense of scents from SF! Cheers!

Good price and alternative to dylan blue
Just like what the other said I bought it because TLTG always says that it is a great blue fragrance..based on reviews it's a mix of dylan blue and blue de chanel but i don't smell BDC on it atleast for me..In my skin it last only about 5 hours but that's okay with me..Anyway it's a great alternative to versace dylan blue similar smell but this one is way cheaper and the performance is almost the same so if you like dylan blue you might as well try this

I find that Acqua Essenziale Blu By Salvatore Ferragamo is a great blue scent. I don't think anyone would dislike it, so it is office safe. The projection and sillage are about an arms length so it is there but not overpowering. It lasts about 6 hours which is as much as I hope for with any fragrance any more is a bonus.

Underrated Perfume
