Brooklyn Cologne by Bond No. 9, Released in 2008, this unisex fragrance was named after Brooklyn, a borough of New York City with a growing, eclectic population of artists, restaurants, inspiring architecture and effortlessly stylish people. This scent seeks to capture Brooklyn's essence in a colorful, graffiti-inspired bottle. This fragrance's top notes include cedar, grapefruit and juniper berries. It is rounded off with base notes of leather and Guaiac wood.

The company was created in 2003 by longtime perfumer Laurice Rahme, who was so inspired by the unique, grungy, but endlessly stylish New York City, that she named her company after its NoHo address and sought to create fragrances that capture the excitement, grit and artistic essence of the city she so loved.

Rahme was born in Paris, France and grew up loving the museums and art that surrounded her. She decided that she wanted to travel the world, so she got a job in the world of beauty. She started working for Lancome in 1973 and never looked back.
