Gourmand Chypre
L Floral Chypre from Clive Christian is a great example of a modern style Chypre. I love powdery scents with some sharpness, not too soft and L Chypre has the sour side I enjoy. In the beginning the scent reminds me a lot of Candy Heart lollies, I wasn't expecting it and initially I wasn't convinced this scent was a Chypre until I started to get glimpses of Mitsouko. This could be renamed Miss Mitsouko. LFC is very gourmand in the opening and leans to a more classic yet contemporary styled Chypre through the heart and base. Overall I find it's effortlessly pleasant, lasts at least 4 hours and radiates very well. I only wish the price was more affordable. Thanks so much to FragranceX for the opportunity to try LFC through an affordable sample.
