Not a Blind Buy
I absolutely love the original cold water, and I purchased this, on a blind by, thinking it would be a more intense version of that. It's nothing like that, in my opinion. The best advice I could give you on. This one is to absolutely test it before you buy it. It's an absolute beast when it comes to strength and longevity, so you better like the smell before you buy it. I wear the original one several times a week, but don't know that I'll ever wear this one again. I may be gifting this one to a friend.

Great for the price...not unique but the performance's great
The performance is great but the scent is just okay...it smells like versace eros. I love the sweetness but sometimes the citrus(green mandarin) is off putting. It's quite ambery just like in armani code profumo that sometimes comes piercing. I think my relation with amber is not yet fully developed. Sometimes i like it, sometimes i hate it. Overall ,for the price to perfomance ratio,it' s great but the scent itself is just okay. Maybe after many wearings, it will grow on me. Maybe and hopefully...

I only wear Por Homme scents,have since college. Mens fragrances tend to stay on my super dry skin longer & better than Femme fragrances. A friend who works at the Perfumers Workshop at NM thought this would be a Scent I'd love..WRONG! Overpowering,soooo strong and it was just not my type of frag'! My favourite blues are Versace Dylan Blue,Nautica Sport, my best greens are Dunhill Fresh, Versace Signature,Citrusy, Issey Fusion,Jo Malone Lime Mandarin,Basil. Where I do like Cool Water Wave,the Intense was just that way to Intense. I have over 150 in my collection but this one wasn't even good enough to spray on my fresh linen. Dee~Dee

Great update on a old school scent!!
Cool water intense, is a great update to the classic scent. It's a fresher scent with the addition of green apple to it. Definitely a spring/summer vibe, so you don't need alot of sprays.

A very pleasing fragrance
Stop comparing this to the original cool water! Stop expecting them to be similar, they are nothing alike! But what I can tell you is that this fragrance is more than worth it, better than the original and lasts wayyyyy longer. I love ambroxan heavy scents and this one is a hit. It goes great with the coconut and the mandarin is so natural, it's to die for! I love this fragrance and feel it can be worn anytime of the day and during any season, but I can't wait to try this during some warm weather!

It smells good but has a different smell
It should be named something else because this is not cool water . It is a whole different smell. Not even close to the original. It does smell good. It has a coconut and orange smell. Very fruity. Do not put too much as it is strong .

Very Disappointed
I was so looking forward to this cologne and I have a nice collection of fragrances and I'm a fan of Davidoff colognes, but when I tried this fragrance, it stayed close to my skin and would not project for nothing, I also believe it's overpriced for how weak it is. Sorry but that's my opinion.

This is NOT like the original!
This is nothing like the original Cool Water. This has it's own, unique smell. It doesn't share the DNA of the original, or have any other comparable characteristics that I can smell. I originally thought this was going to be the parfume version of the EDT, so just a stronger Cool Water, but nothing could be further from the truth. The scent is okay I guess...Some people may enjoy it, but I personally don't like it. Its strong, very strong!
