Smells like aftershave
Smelt amazing in its opening but wasn't a fan of the drydown. Product came with its lid peeling too, so plasticky bits were sticking to the neck of the bottle.

No, exceedingly disappointed by the product.
With the first whiff I could tell this was not the Eau de Givenchy I first bought some years ago. Whatever they've done to update the contents, it is overpowering in an unpleasant stringent way, certainly not suited to my sense of smell.

DOES NOT smell like Original w/ Blue Lid.
I've been familiar with this fragrance since the 1980s... I purchased the mini that is still presented in the type of bottle this used to come in. (Square Art Deco style with Blue Lid & Blue Label) The mini was perfect & smelled exactly as it should- Like the original scent circa 1980's & I'll likely purchase more of these although tiny & not in atomizer form. (Perhaps it is old stock still as again, has the original style packaging.) The large bottle that just shipped to me IS NOT THE SAME FRAGRANCE AT ALL! I'm sending the large bottle back, though not unpleasant, it smells like floral laundry spray & not like Eau De Givenchy. Again, completely different scent thus not at all worth the price. Disappointing.

Review of the original (1980) Eau de Givenchy
This original formula has been discontinued. But you can still buy these little sample sizes. THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FRAGRANCE FOR SPRING AND SUMMER! For the first few minutes someone trying this for the first time might think it's a bit much or 'mature' smelling. But once it dries down you will think that it is very nice! I love this fragrance and it brings back so many great memories. This is spring/summer encapsulated in a bottle, albeit a little bottle!

While I was excited to finally find this perfume again, it's definitely nothing like the original Givenchy, Eau de Givenchy, from years ago. The scent is alright but not what I was hoping for. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for that original scent.

Givenchy has reinvigorated 1980s
I broke my old Givenchy III EDP from decades ago and was devastated. Read the reviews about the new ED Givenchy stating that it was just like the 1980s perfume. Wrong it is far more astringent and not sweet and woody like the original. Disappointed.

Changed formula
FrangranceX is a great website, I will definitely order from them again. The problem with my purchase is with the company (Givenchy) They changed the formula on this parfum. The scent, the notes are so different from the original scent from the 80s and 90s. Wish I would have known about this. Disappointed

Interesting fresh scent
Different From the product I used to purchase under this name years ago. Not as floral, sensual or sexy. Too citrusy for me, but still nice. Only lasts for a short while...then lost in the air. I would not waste my money...quite a bit of money, on it again

Unclear how mini a mini is
This is my all time favorite perfume. I brought some back from France, but ran out. Now difficult to find. I was not aware of how "mini" a "mini" bottle actually is. For the tiny amount i received, I think it was overpriced. But it definitely was what it claimed to be.

My favourite perfume back in my home
This is the perfume that is just me, I have worn it for forty years. Everyone loves it on me and I feel complete when I wear it. When I have not been able to get it I have felt like I have lost an old friend. I am also allergic to so many perfumes and this one does not give me any problems at all.

I'm 16 again
Started wearing this perfume when I was 16, but have been unable to get it in the UK for at least 10 years, managed to get a bottle about 6 years ago in Australia but it's not even sold there anymore, so I was delighted to find it on fragrance x. I was a bit hesitant as the packaging is different but there is no mistaking the gorgeous uplifting scent.

Beautiful fresh fragrance
I have used this perfume since 1980. There was a gap for five years when I could not get the perfume. I really missed it. I am allergic to many fagrances. Not this one. I find it fresh and fragrant. People notice it in a nice way and I feel femamine and happy when I wear it.

My favourite perfume for the last forty
I have used this perfume since my early twenties for the last forty years. It still suits me. It is timeless and it still gets complimented. It is fresh and fragrant. I am allergic to so many perfumes, when this was not available I tried others but non matched this and the others did not agree with me.

Awesome fragrance
I use this everyday. It is my VERY favorite and very hard to find. I went 2 years before I found it here. Only place I could find it. It is light and not overpowering, not offensive and a breath of fresh air. While I was at work a lady walked by me and said I smelled AMAZING!

Wrong bottle
Why are you showing the bottle of Eau de Givenchy and we receive those small examples they give for free in stores? Yes, I know, 0.14 ounces is not big, but you should show those tiny bottles that i will certainly not give for Christmass to anyone. I love this fragrance and I am so happy to be able to find it. Not an easy task! I have used it for years because it is subtle, yet wonderfully fragrant without being overpowering. 'has it all & room for the imagination

The Fragrance of My Wife
