I wanted to try this for some time after reading so many positive reviews about its nuttiness and pineapple note. Unfortunately I couldn't notice any real nuttiness, just a kind of generic sweet, fruity perfume smell. Glad I sampled first.

The most delicious thing I've smelled in a very long time!
I cannot stop smelling myself! Exceeded my expectations of Elie Saab in terms of quality and beauty. It's sweet, bright, smooth and silky. It starts with a fresh pineapple burst (not too much) then eases into pistachio with a following of silky almond. I'm in love.

Good but not for me
I was excited to try this because of all of the good reviews on YouTube. It is a good fragrance, but it was not for me. It gave me a headache. It was too thick and heady. After a few hours, it settled and was actually a nice scent. I just don't want to wait hours before I can tolerate a fragrance. It is pretty long lasting. I got a strong scent for about 6 to 8 hours.

this is an amazing scent but it does not last. I love the notes in this and I really love it but the staying power is not great....so if you want to try it , get a sample first and see

Sparkling Almond perfume
Yum. Girl of Now Shine opens with an almost effervescent sparkling of florals like orange blossom then the almond almost marzipan comes through. It dries down to a sweet vanilla with a hint of patchouli. It's sweet for sure but not cloying. Definitely lasts all day or night. I enjoy it more than I thought I would. I think if you enjoy YSL Black Opium or Lancôme La Vie, you will truly like this.

This is so unique ! I absolutely love it ! If you want to stand out this is for you ..the pineapple is fresh and then the pistachio comes through . Beautiful bottle ..long wearing …I'm looking forward to purchasing the original.

I absolutely love this perfume!
I only use 3 spritzes per day. Only bc I bought a small bottle of it and it is hard to get a hold of. I can smell it on my blouses the next day so it does hold its scent. Not over powering at all. Would love to jump in a tub of it. It's sweet to start with which quickly turns to a stronger sensual scent and ends too quickly. Makes u keep coming back for more!

Smells like pistachio ice cream. Not something I would want to smell like. I sampled this because I have been on an almond kick as of late but this one smells like pistachio ice cream to my nose. Not bad but it doesn't smell like perfume more like a candle fragrance. If you want a good perfume w/ an good almond note in the bouquet try Estee Lauder's Beautiful Belle Love or Elizabeth Taylor's Diamonds and Rubies. Beautiful Belle Love would be a younger vibe and Diamonds and Rubies is more vintage. I own both and love them.

Smells amazing
I blind bought this. My sister has Girl of Now and in her words "it smells rich" and I saw this and decided why not 🤷🏾♀️ Sooo glad I did. It is a great scent it's fruity and nutty with a little vanilla and a splash of ylang. It's not too overwhelming but it is a touch sweet. I wouldn't wear this in warmer months though. Overall amazing purchase think I want to buy all of them now.

I like it. Its really unique and lovely.
This fragrance actually got me interested towards Elie Saab. It took a while for me to get used to the smell. I spray only 1-2 times because it can overwhelm me a little bit. I don't recommend this if you are susceptible to headaches. A lot of people say that it's good to wear in a hot day. Yes, you get that fruity pineapple note but it might be too heavy depending on the wearer. Overall, I like it! It takes a specific mood for you to wear this fragrance. I am so excited to get the whole GON line.

When I first sprayed this I absolutely loved it. It smells almondy and fruity. But then as it started drying down it got syrupy and started to get that playdoh almond smell. Not a huge fan of that. It smells like cookies but because of that it is almost sickening. Can't decide if I like it.

All almond...
I can see how this is a nice scent, but it is too almondy and orange to me. It smells a lot like Serge Lutens 'Fleurs d'Oranger, only much heavier, lots of sweet almond, and less nuance. It is a pretty scent, just a bit much for me and kind of sticks in my throat. I am going to try it again in winter instead of spring to see if that calms it down a bit. It is a little bright for winter, but nothing wrong with a little cheer in the bleak months! I have a feeling this just isn't a scent for me though.

If Girl of Now is too strong, try this one
Got Girl of Now and it was too sharp for me. Loved it at first and was like "oh, great blind buy"...which is why you should never take my advice. So here's a review of my advice. Shine is what I was hoping the original would be. It's so much smoother, easier on the nose because they replaced one of the sharp nutty notes with vanilla. It's so comforting and creamy but still has the original's DNA just not as sharp. Not sure about the silage yet but on me, I can wear the scent to bed. Girl of Now..if I wore that to bed I'd wake up drunk. Just dizzy, nauseous, stumbling around looking for my keys. Worth a try if you love vanilla gourmand or if you liked the original but needed it dialed down a little.

I found this to be quite similar to Paco Rabonne's Olympia. I'm not a huge fan of that. I was hoping it would be more like Elie Saab's other fragrances but it's a bit too overpowering for me.

I fell in love all over again!
This is just yummmy! I have the original and love that just the same. I do smell the hint of pineapple and pear and its warmth sweetness is similar to the original but this is has a fruity warm wave shines through it but still remaining the sexy warmth of the original . Original is more warmer and richer but love both!!
