Known as “Mr. Beverly Hills”, Fred Hayman was originally a hotelier, but once he took California by storm, he succeeded in his goal to put Rodeo Drive on the map for luxury shopping. Launching his first fragrance in 1981 with a great deal of fanfare, he sold it to Avon for a jaw-dropping $165M and captured the attention of the public. With a Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award to his name, awarded in 2011, Hayman remains one of the most important players in making Beverly Hills the shopping destination it is today. Brings back so many memories.. and it still to me blow out some of the others I have. Had to get one for my lil brother he use to always steal mine when we were younger.

Hard to describe but Hollywood smells great. For me a little bit like a fine candy :-) Sweeter than I expected (completely unknown in Europe). It is the real "so '90ies " scent :-) Ohh my youth (that is over unfortunately) This one is my 2nd Fred Hayman scent. Both were complimented many times. The only con is that hard to handle the bottle because of its shape. Like it.

I've been using this for 15+ years and either the formula changed or this was not an original that was sent. Smells sweet instead of fresh.

great scent........... cool bottle, which unfortunately ...
is one of the most frustrating scents to apply. the "metal" square at the bottom will not stay put, and gets in the way when spraying. very awkward, resulting in my dropping two different bottles over the years, which would then no longer spray !! i had to re-bottle into a separate atomizer to use the scent. yet the smell of it is worth the trouble, and i always keep this in my collection...

The "Sleeper" you're gonna LOVE
Now this was kind of a surprise. Just from the packaging you can tell this is "lights, camera, ACTION". It's light and then BOOM it hits you with that Hayman sophistication. Perfect for day outings as it gives a subtle hint of the possibilities of evening. So grab a picnic basket or beach towel and get ready for your "close up".

I've been using Hollywood for years. Whenever I get into an elevator people always comment and ask what I'm wearing. I use other cologne's, but this is my signature. Over the years I have given it out as Christmas and birthday presents, and nobody has ever been disappointed.

This is the only thing that I wear. I love it the women love it. I was able to buy it a little cheaper before the store stopped carrying it. The only problem was that until I found it here I was afraid that I would have to find something new. I would not recomment this to a friend because I do not want anyone else smelling like me. I woudl however recommend the site.
