L'heure Attendue Perfume by Jean Patou, Launched in 2014,L'Heure Attendue is a wonderfully feminine fragrance with a touch of old oriental spice. This scent is fabulous for the discerning woman with old-world glamour and modern glam. The top notes open with enchanting aldehydes, tangerine, and neroli. Following this are the mid-notes, bringing sweet peach, classic rose, fresh jasmine, and tantalizing ylang-ylang. The closing notes leave a signature of opoponax, dark amber, classic sandalwood, and timeless patchouli. This scent leaves its mark at any time of the year, but its smokiness lends a hint of warmth to the winter. It offers very strong sillage and is long-lasting.

Jean Patou, launched by the gentleman of the same name, started offering perfumes in 1925. In addition to being a very long-storied and accomplished perfumery, the brand is also often credited for inventing designer ties. DEFINITELY!!!!!!

This is the nicest scent I've found yet. This will ne my main perfume from now on. I can't think of a bad thing about it. Lovely!!!

Personal favorite from the Ma Collection

[...] this very hard to find beauty. L'Heure Attendue, released in 1946 to celebrate the liberation of Paris from Nazi occupation, is a wearable, surprisingly modern spicy-woodsy oriental composition. There are shades of Almeras's Chaldee in the heart, and the top notes are a foreshadowing of Kerleo's later 1000 (Mille). L'Heure Attendue opens with some creamy florals and then smoothly develops into a spicy-woodsy drydown that is as wearable today as it would have been 65 years ago.

Sharp and Fresh

This perfume is going to be one of my favourites and I am looking forward to summer and wearing it. It is part of my collection of perfumes first released before 1950. Not surprised it's made it down the years.
