Disappointment
Blind bought this too due to the name - flanker to OG after 40 some years. The prescribed note breakdown of laurel, hazelnut leave, lavender, oak, atlas cedar, himalayan cedar, sandalwood, vanilla, oakmoss was intriguing and, expectations high too experience a solid woody adventure with a twist to the OG. Alas, this has nothing to do with the mood of the OG of a sweet orangey opening and beautiful dry down and a performance beast! This grey has no performance (sillage/projection/longevity) at all - a the greyness of nothingness. It is a disgrace to Ron and Koenig Karl what some yuppy Inter Parfums marketing guru (a guess) thought was a good idea to capitalize on the Original Name. A real shame and huge bomb for IP, imho. Will not recommend nor buy it ever again. Will stick to the OG, which I love.

I Like This Fragrance, Yet This is a One Time Purchase
Blind purchase on Lagerfeld name alone. Fragrance is subtle and very fresh when first applied. The initial scent is lavender and dries down to woodsy vanilla fragrance. The sillage is intimate and the longevity on my skin was approximated at 4 - 6 hours. I do like this fragrance. It will not become a signature fragrance, yet the House of Lagerfeld will live on.
