Elie Le Parfum Royal is an oriental scent of jammy rose, orange, and amber with patchouli that gives strength to this perfume. Not for the people who are sensitive to patchouli. This is so long-wearing. Not so cheap but worth the price.

Not what I thought
I bought a sample from fragrancex and fell in love with it. Ordered a bottle as a treat for myself. The fragrance in the bottle is much more…chemically, almost acrid and overwhelming. I don't know what accounts for the difference from the warm oriental close to the skin sample I had. Very disappointing. I've tried to wear it 3 times and it hasn't grown on me.
