Mustang Blue Cologne by Estee Lauder, Mustang Blue was released by Estee Lauder in 2008. This is a masculine fougere scent with a complex combination of accords that evoke a sunny day outdoors. The top notes are bergamot, lemon, mint and basil with a citrusy, green freshness. The heart notes of lavender, geranium, clary spice, cloves, pine, artemisia, pepper and cardamom that evolve into a wonderful, spicy heart with subtle florals and a stronger spice note. Mustang Blue finishes nicely with a dry-down of cedar and patchouli warmed by musk. The bottle comes in a metal tin with the Ford Mustang logo on the front for a nice presentation.

Estee Lauder was founded in 1946 as a cosmetics and skin care company and opened its first department store counter two years later. In 1953 the company released their first fragrance, Youth Dew, which remains a best seller today. They now own 25 other companies, including Clinique and Origins. Hey, everyone. Justin here, and today, I'll be reviewing Mustang Blue by Mustang. This men's scent is classified as an aromatic foggier, and I would add that it has significant woody fresh records as well. It opens with a mix of lemon, bergamot, basil, and mint. Leading into heart notes of lavender, pepper, pine cloves, geranium, Artemisia, Clary sage, and cardamom before finishing off in strong notes of Cedar Musk and patchouli.
