Established in 1932, Nina Ricci is a French fashion house that is best known for elegant gowns for women. In 1946, the brand released the first fragrance, called Coeur Joie. Puig acquired the brand in 1998 and continued to release scents and fashion for both men and women. The bottle of this perfume is sleek and black, adorned with a gold top tied with a black ribbon at the base for added sophistication and elegance. All products are original, authentic name brands. It is a beautiful piece of art. It's very feminine and deep, good for a dates and evenings. It would go perfectly with a black dress and red lip.

Smells fantastic!
This fragrance definitely has the rose notes of the original l'exatase but very little of the sweetness. I prefer the sweetness of the original but it's because I love gourmand fragrances. I'd describe this rose as a powdery rose that's not very complex. I get a slight spice in the opening as the notes suggest but overall the star of the show is the sweet and slightly powdery rose. I also definitely pick up the earthy woody smell of patchouli (which I assume is the reason this is comparable to Oud Satin Mood which I've never smelled before) this may also be from the cedar. It lasts on skin for 4-5 hours and I'd assume even longer on clothes. Overall I'd say it is I scent that isn't too overwhelming and can be worn when ever.

Gorgeous, sexy and elegant
It's a gorgeous smokey rose - sexy, sensual and classy at the same time. Makes me think of thick black silk camisole with a lace trim, sultry jazz clubs, cherry cigars, italian architecture, warm nights... It's a wonderful wonderful scent.

This is amazing fragrance
This is an amazing fragrance! It's a juicy jammy rose, very sweet, deep, and sensuous. After I received it and tried it on, I immediately decided I don't want any other rose fragrances, in my opinion nothing can compete with this one. I think traditionally it's suited best to wear in the evening, I'm the kinda person who disregards these things and wears it any time I feel like smelling amazing :)

A beautiful scent!
I blind bought this product based on a few reviews on Fragrantica. Given who the "nose" behind this fragrance was, I had to see for myself if Rose Absolue was as beautiful as described. Indeed. This flanker is a dark spicy vanilla rose not as sweet as the original L'extase ,with a slight smokiness.Smells expensive and beautifully blended.Wore it this evening and received so many compliments.!
