I have use Organza for years.. So delicate not overpowering.. Only Fragrance I use..and have for years.. I am in Choir and they ask not to use heavy strong fragrance.. This is not.. So I use. Gorgeous tuberose
Organza is a beautiful take on one of my favorite flowers in perfumes, tuberose. The opening is the green of nature as if you stepped on stems of flowers while walking in a garden. Dewy and soft green, not sharp. As the fragrance progresses a garden of lush florals appears tuberose, honeysuckle, peony, gardenias. Tuberose is the flower that dominates for me, but the others are very noticeable especially the peony which gives this perfume the feeling of being draped in the colors of pink, cream and gold. A buttery rich walnut, subtle spices, cedar and a rich vanilla round out the composition and give it depth and a seductive quality. This is one of the best perfumes Givenchy makes and I hope they never stop producing it.

Wasn't what I imagined
This was a blind buy based on all of the great reviews so maybe my expectations were too high when I initially sprayed it. One thing I just realized is that I am not a fan of the initial spray and it seems to be like that with any perfume I try, even if I like it. This is what I experienced with Organza. When I sprayed the fragrance for the first time, I was really disappointed because the reviews made it seem as though I was going to love it on the first spray, but I didn't. It really smells like an older woman's perfume. Even when you smell the tip of the nozzle, it smells like a granny perfume. HOWEVER, once I let it dry down for 5-10 minutes, I could not stop smelling my arm. I don't know what it is about that dry down but it smells amazing. It also lasts all day, so you don't have to worry about. re-applying. I bought the 1.7 oz bottle and I'm sure I won't go through this quickly just because it doesn't take much to cling to your skin. If you don't like how it smells on the initial spray, try waiting for the dry down.
