Pinecone Dynamite
Right up front, big hits of basil, resinous pine, and bitter lavender. The pine imagery defines the name and bottle, but the front is just as robustly herbal as it is woody. If Halston 1-12 is reminiscent of Irish Spring, then Pino Silvestre gives the impression of those once-ubiquitous pine tree air fresheners - maybe not the highest-toned association, but those accords are popular for a reason. Despite how resinous and herby it is, the overall effect is a very clean green, and a lot of people seem to find it relaxing. It mellows rather quickly in intensity, but doesn't really introduce any new notes by the drydown, so if you like it up front, you'll like it throughout. For anybody into green fragrances, this is a truly dynamite cheapie.

Piny, mossy smell
Pino Silvestere is too weak. Lasts only for the 1st 15 minutes then it's gone forever. You will have to reapply 5 sprays every 15 minutes till the bottle gets empty.

Wanna smell like pine cones?
This smells like pine cones. If that is something you're in, this is perfect for you. Just not my style but not bad for the price. My 8 year old daughter found it great smelling and reminded her of the outdoors. Fresh, pine needle and pine cone smell will could be perfect fir the holidays.

One time purchase
It's not the worst thing I've ever smelled, but easily the worst thing I've put on my skin. The chemical make-up seems to irritate the skin-surface, something none of my other fragrances do. Given the price, it is very long lasting. Clothing seems to capture this fragrance effectively as well. It also projects reasonably well, easily 3-6 feet if applied properly. The bottle design is incredibly unique and is an aesthetically pleasing addition to my collection. The atomizer on my bottle is not properly alligned with the top of the container, causing trace amounts of juice to get caught coming out and leak down the bottle. Very annoying defect that others have also experienced according to my research. The scent itself is two things: Simple and synthetic. There is nothing but pine and a small hint of citrus in the dry-down, perhaps traces of sandalwood too. Nothing to write home about. The pine accord is incredibly harsh and unnatural. I suppose a pro to the singular nature of this scent is that it could be applied to both skin and clothing and would not smell too different between cloth and skin, as the opening and dry-down don't vary note-wise. All in all, I can't find a practical use for this one. It's cheap, it's harsh and you get what you pay for. At least it's not grey flannel, so that's an up.
