The Roger & Gallet perfume house has a long and storied history. A perfumer named Jean Marie Farina opened his own perfume house in 1806, using an Eau de Cologne formula created by his ancestor in the 1700's. Charles Roger and Charles Gallet purchased his entire perfume catalog in 1862 and used the original formula to inspire their own products.
