Silences Eau De Parfum Sublime Perfume by Jacomo, Silences Eau De Parfum Sublime blends rich tones of greenery with the essence of the deep woods. Originally introduced in 1978, this sensuous perfume for women was revamped in 2012. Initial notes of galbanum, cassia and pear spill from the top and cascade into the heart of the fragrance. Luscious floral scents of iris, rose and narcissus spark romantic notions while bursting from the middle. The body of this irresistible aroma is accentuated with a base of musk and sandalwood. This is an exceptional choice for adventurous evenings and passionate nights.

Jacomo was founded by James Kaplan and Gerard Courtin toward the end of the 1960s in New York City. The two were fashion designers until they shifted their focus in 1970. The company was absorbed by Sarbec Cosmetics, based in France, in 1995. Drawing on the original vision of Kaplan and Courtin, Sarbec continues to formulate quality products for men and women. Deep green chypre

This is not your typical amber floral or sexy fruity fragrance. It takes you back in time to an era of green marble, gold and smoky mirrors. It says strength, tranquility, nature, classy. It's for the woman who's not afraid to hold her own opinions, to go against the tide. For the woman who isn't afraid of silence.

Sublime? Maybe.

Great price, but doesn't last very long. Opens with a burst of galbanum but dries down kinda synthetic.

Comforting Forest

This is a quiet and soothing perfume that reminds me of a damp forest. I was recommended this perfume as I love Chanel No. 19. I understand some people associate these types of scents as being "cold" or for "business meetings" but it just reminds me of being in nature, calmness, and grounding takes over. It is a refreshing change from the sweet perfumes I am not always in the mood for. I would love to wear this year-round but it doesn't survive in cold weather.
