Amazing Floral Chypre
I decided to start a fragrance collection during COVID lockdown and have been at it for over a year now. I started w/ niche brands and then naturals. I found out that the house of Jean Patou is stopping production of their iconic Joy and all of their other fragrances because the house was swallowed up by some horrible corporation. I also found out they used a lot of natural ingredients in their creations and I decided to sample Joy, Sublime, 1000 and Joy Forever. I fell hard for Joy, 1000 and Sublime, especially for Sublime. This is the fragrance I have been searching for for all of my life. This fragrance has everything I love in 1 bottle! It is sweet, slightly fruity, slightly woody, subtle vanilla, powdery, musky, floral, earthy, and soapy. This is a vintage style fragrance yet it has a little bit of a modern twist. It is warmer than most vintage fragrances. This is for a woman who is modern yet has a yearning for the opulence of the past. I have collected many fragrances over this past year and 1/2 but this is my favorite of the bunch. I am so glad I have been able to stock up before it is gone forever, I do not want to ever be w/out this beautiful, sophisticated fragrance.

My only perfume
I have used this eau de perfum everyday for years, years. It seems to go well with my chemistry, and lasts a long time. I do wish the tester, which is a good price, had a "top" to it to make it more attractive on my dresser. It goes with my polo shirts and with dressier clothing. Natural and classic.

A bit disappointed
This just doesn't hold on me. I loved this in the 90's and was disappointed they discontinued it. Always got compliments but not with this. I'm not sure it smells the same as I remember. Will try the eau de parfum next time to see if it lasts longer.

The fragrance is feminine, powdery, slightly sweet. Retro, but not staromodnyj the beginning of significant aldehydes with greens. Aroma of some sun. Can be used for everyday wear. To me it doesn't seem to be Daisy-chained. Rather intimate. Beautiful bottle.
