Perfumers Workshop was established in 1970 by Gun and Donald Bauchner, who saw an opportunity, after working in the perfume industry for ten years, to do something new and alternative. The Bauchners made a deal with Bloomingdale’s in New York to set up a fragrance counter where customers purchased custom-blended fragrances that were created from essential oils after they decided upon notes, accords, bottles, and packaging. The 1977 launch of Tea Rose, the brand’s first traditional fragrance, was highly successful, as it was sold through mass market distribution. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

The Perfect Rose Scent
Very strong!

This real rose aroma is pleasant and timless. Can be combined with any oriental or floral perfumes. By itself is also beautiful. If you like to smell like a real rose- young or mature fits all to my taste.

Worth it
I use this to layer with all my heavy middle eastern ouds. I love this sent just by itself this products puts more expensive drugs to shame. This is the best buy I have ever made. I use this by itself or at night before bed. This is the most realistic scent if roses I have ever smelled. This is greatness is why I layer it with my heavier Orientals to soften the heaviness for something familiar to my western friends.

I can tell this product has a very long longevity..It comes off very strong....a very ROSE strong ROSE scent indeed...I woiuldn't wear this in a very tight knit closed office space...This is definitely an evening scent for sure.....Purchase again....YES!!!!

I was given a gift of Tea Rose approximately 45 years ago and have been wearing it since. I have Channel#5 and Joy and I keep them for different occasions but Tea Rose comes with me everywhere I go. So many people comment 'i can smell beautiful roses' and are amazed that it is my perfume.

This scent is absolutely stunning. Literally fresh cut roses in a bottle. Stems and all. I can't stop sniffing myself. I'm definitely purchasing backups. Out of all of my fragrances, this one is the true meaning of roses.

Realistic rose
Imagine fresh roses feom the garden. Best for layering other perfumes which needs a touch of rose. It is very strong and potent, I could smell this on my even after 6 hours

I found it smells like a rose bomb went off , a bit much, their is nothing to balance it out, it makes a gòod room spray instead that is why I give a three, I would not recommend to anyone to use as perfume.

THE GREATEST ROSE SCENT
Although Tea Rose starts strong and synthetic, it mellows into a wonderful fragrance! This is the most amazing fragrance that is a true floral fragrance, because I sprayed 3 spritzes on my hair and clothes, in the spring (light breeze) it attracted a couple of bees. No other fragrance (use dozens over the years) has done this.

Love this old favorite!
I have worn this fragrance off and on for years. It's become very hard to find in stores so I haven't worn it in awhile. The Best Rose perfume EVER
I have worn this scent since the 70's. It is me. The fresh scent of roses with the citrus undertone fits me well. It has been the only scent I wear and brings compliments often! Hubby loves it too! Many perfumes give me a headache, but Tea Rose does not contain that headache inducing ingredient! Classic, floral, rose! PERFECT!

The Best!
I have worn Tea Rose as my signature scent since getting my first bottle in 1978. It is the absolutely perfect scent. There is no way I would ever wear any other regularly, though I have been known to wear Joy on a rare special occasion. Tea Rose is light, feminine and suitable anywhere. I have worn it to the opera, to the grocery store and even on hikes. A feminine woman cannot go wrong with Tea Rose.

I love this "seasoned" , meaning, has been around for yrs.

The alternatives and questions on this review are more for my wife than me. I buy Tea Rose for her as it is her favourite scent and not generally available in England.
