This fragrance was launched in 2017 by Tous, a Spanish jewelry company based in Barcelona that also offers accessories and perfumes. The brand was founded in 1920 by Salvador Tous Bladi. 1920 The Origin by Tous came into my life via my oldest son. A very close friend--a young man who has always been a special favorite among my kids' friends--thought it would be just right for my son. I think my son found it a bit too confident, brash, and passed it along to me. That it represents his friend's opinion of him and my son's opinion of me is warming. The scent is of nature, but not sweet and fruity. More like a woodland after rain--the earthy scents of leaves and dampened flowers. It brings me joy when I first apply it, a joy that is subtly revived when I catch the lingering notes throughout the morning.

FANTASTIC scent
Great scent, longevity needs to be better. Skin scent in about 3hrs. Projection is ok, silage is moderate.

This is a special fragrance with a perfect and optimum blend. The scent is not easy to find in other fragrances, but I have been reading/watching reviews in the community describing it as a clone/similar to Cartier declaration. The opening is rich of cardamom, perfect for mature men for evening & colder weather use. It can easily be a signature fragrance for a man between 30 to 60.

Bitter orange
Very pleasant, calming fragrance. The bitter orange scent at the top is very prominent. Dries down to a faint sweet maybe light woody scent. Longevity varies on heat and humidity. It doesn't have very strong projection, so i made the noob mistake of over-spraying at first, so much that someone asked if i spilled a bottle of perfume. Now i learnt that a light touch is best.

Bitter orange Mandarin tea
Dried orange peel was the first thing that hit my nose. There's a pleasant calming bittersweet top note. Overall on dry down, I get a light wood & tea scent. Don't really get the spicy smell. The projection isn't strong but I like scents that stay close to me. Longevity is a bit of an interesting thing -- it's bad when I overspray but surprisingly long lasting if I keep to 3 or 4 sprays. Though the humidity and temperature also affects longevity. It's not harsh on skin, which probably explains the price. I wish this was cheaper, so the price point makes me hesitate a 2nd purchase even though I like this.
