Carven was founded in the year 1945 by Carmen de Tommasso in Paris, France. She got her inspiration for her luxurious creations from her travels. She launched her first fragrance in the year 1946, only a year after her initial launch of her boutique. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Clean
I have used it as my signature fragrance most of my life and add a drop of patchouli oil for evening. I never go without someone I dont know commenting on how incredible I smell! Most fragrances tend to sour on my skin but vetiver carvan leaves me smelling fresh from a shower!

NEGATIVE
I was encouraged by the comments i read for this perfume,so i decided to give it a try.The opening is like smelling cleaning hand tissues and after 3 min. it is getting so powdery and an oldschool aroma that only grandpas smell like. Should have considered it was made in 1957.Certainly not a choice for guys aged under 45 years old.

High-class fragrance
Came across this product about 20 years ago,and liked it.Normally too expensive in the shops,but have gone back to it thanks to fragrancex selling it at an economical price. Has a very special aroma,much admired by the ladies,often draws a "wow,you smell great,what have you got on".Not yet used by the masses,fortunately.A high class product.

This is a lovely Vetiver with a lovely warm, 'foresty' smell which endures throughout the day. For those unsure about the vetiver scent, this is a good starting point, especially if you aren't quite up to the bookish smell of some of the vetiver perfumes.

Nice crisp, clean scent ...
Nice crisp, clean scent with a citrus and earth tone base. Long lasting but not overpowering like so many of today's designer mens/unisex fragrances. It is a refined yet sporty fragrance- good for a casual night out or a black tie night.
