Terrible insult to the original classic
As the title suggests, this is absolutely terrible since IFRA came along and the reformulating began. It really is such a shame that a very, very classy (but divisive) fragrance has been completely ruined! The original was 10/10!

It has become bad. Kouros is no longer Kouros!!
It has become very bad. It has a suffocating industrial smell. It is no longer what it was in the past. It was a symbol of elegance in the time of the legend Yves Saint Laurent. I will not buy this insecticide again.

I have used this cologne since '82 & still use today.
Night time is the best time for me. The smell turns into a powdery smell and is warm clean . 41 years and still love it as I did the first time I purchased it at Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville NC in1982.

Fragrance doesn't last
The product is inferior to the previous kouros I bought at brick and mortar duty free shops for the last 19 years for my dad who lives in a foreign country. The scent barely lasts an hour. And for the price I expected a quality product as it was not significantly discounted.

Use an extremely small amount- one SMALL spray! This is a great fragrance but it is beginning to border on being a hair too sweet for my tastes. As I get older, my nose has become more sensitive. This is definitely a night-time party scent. I discovered this in the late eighties and loved it, then. I could be wrong but the smell seems to have slightly changed since then. It could just be me, though.

You should only use kourous if your going our clubbing drinking and smoking the reason I say this that it's really strong for other things like work dating or daily wear but if your going to sweat and party it's perfect cause at the end of the night you'll still smell like the cologne
